Which glue gun to choose?
When choosing dispensing equipment, consider factors such as:
- the viscosity of the extruded mass - the higher it is, the more powerful a pneumatic gun we need or a gun with a greater gear ratio in the case of manual guns
- the amount of glue consumption - with continuous production, a dosing system or a pneumatic gun is a much better solution, which does not tire the employee's hand as much as a manual gun. In the case of occasional use, e.g. in the maintenance department, a manual squeezer will be completely sufficient and cheaper to buy.
- the number of product components, mixing ratio and cartridge size - both manual and pneumatic guns should be adjusted to the size of the cartridge (25ml, 37ml, 50ml, 310ml, 400ml, 490ml), check whether the adhesive is one or two-component. The proportions are also important - we usually meet 1: 1, 1: 2 and 1:10
