Loctite lubricants allow to obtain very good protection of machine and equipment elements by reducing friction and preventing jamming of elements. We can divide these products into 3 categories:
- organic based agents
- preparations based on mineral oils
- synthetic lubricants
- Another breakdown of these products is:
- anti-seize products
- lubricants
- oils

How do Loctite lubricants work? Why use them?
Lubricating products reduce the friction naturally occurring between moving working elements / parts. In addition, they protect the given components against corrosion, seizing or seizing.
Which lubricating product to choose?
The selection of the appropriate lubricant depends on the application, operating temperature of the device, manufacturer's recommendations, the size of the load and other external factors that will affect the lubricated elements. It is also important whether the device has contact with other chemicals that adversely affect the service life and effectiveness of the lubricant.
Lubricants or Anti-seize?
Anti-seize products are designed to protect against seizing of elements working in extreme conditions - in very high temperature and / or under very heavy loads. They are intended for more static connections, e.g. securing the screw against seizing up. We have a choice of products based on aluminum, graphite, copper, calcium fluoride, boron nitride, MoS2 and combinations of these chemicals. Some of the products can work even at temperatures up to 1,315 degrees Celsius.
Loctite lubricants and oils protect against friction, corrosion, wear and overheating. They can be used in more moving parts than anti-seize products, e.g. for chain, bearing etc.
Loctite dry lubricating coatings are products based on MoS2 or PTFE (Teflon). Their properties are reducing friction, preventing seizure of elements, protection against corrosion and improving the performance of oils and greases.
