Properties
LOCTITE Frekote 55-NC is a faster evaporating version of Frekote 44-NC with a weaker odor. Frekote 55-NC is a non-transfer separator with a fast curing time. The product combines chemically with the surface of the mold and forms an extremely thin layer that is stable at temperatures exceeding most molding processes.

Use
LOCTITE Frekote 55-NC is a semi-permanent non-adhesive designed for multiple separation without transfer. Ideally suited to the surface of matte structural forms. It is also ideal for working with epoxy, polyester resins, as well as adhesives and rotary molded plastics. It provides multiple separations of advanced composites without the transfer of impurities and without the formation of deposits on the mold.

Instructions for use
- the surfaces of the mold should be thoroughly cleaned of dust, impurities and previously used adhesives
- the product should be rubbed with a clean, non-scorching cotton cloth, applying it with a brush or spray method (at a distance of 20 - 25 cm between the surface and the nozzle)
- in this way you need to apply from 3 to 6 layers, waiting 5 minutes between each of them
- after applying the last layer, wait 30 minutes for its complete hardening. This time can be reduced by heating the mould at 100 to 150 °C for a period of 5 minutes.
Storage
Frekote 55-NC contains flammable ingredients and should therefore be stored in accordance with current safety rules. The product should not be stored near oxidants and flammable materials. Frekote 55-NC should be stored in a dry, cool place in a tightly closed container. The shelf life of the product is 1 year from the moment of its manufacture.
