Loxeal 8350 250ml one-component anaerobic for sealing threaded connections

Loxeal 83-50 is a technologically advanced, high-strength anaerobic adhesive, created for sealing threaded connections in various industrial sectors.  It is a one-component formula that cures in anaerobic conditions, which means that the hardening process occurs after cutting off air access between the contacting metal surfaces. The product is designed to provide quick setting and long-term protection against pressure leaks, corrosion, as well as chemical and thermal influences.

Properties:

• Fast setting: enables effective work and shortens the time necessary to secure joints.
• High strength: the adhesive is resistant to harsh conditions, including high temperatures up to +200°C.
• Chemical and thermal resistance: effectively resists the effects of chemicals and extreme temperatures.
• Vibration and vibration resistance: ideally suitable for use in places exposed to machine traffic and mechanical influences.
• Specialized use: approved for threaded connections in gas installations (EN751-1, DIN DVGW no. NG-5146BQ0134) and for contact with hot and cold drinking water (WRAS, ANSI 61).< /li>
• Improved adhesion to difficult surfaces: Effective on bronze, brass, nickel-plated and chrome-plated surfaces.

Application:

• Sealing threaded connections: creates a flexible, tight joint, replacing traditional sealing methods such as hemp or Teflon tapes.
• Fittings and installations: ideal for use in water, sewage, gas and central heating installations.
• Corrosion prevention: guarantees 100% protection against corrosion, which extends the life of the systems.
• Application control: The addition of a fluorescent substance allows for easy verification of the correctness of the application using a UV lamp.

Usage:

• Surface preparation: the surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased before application, using e.g. PULSAR remover.
• Surface activation: using the LOXEAL AT-11 activator speeds up the glue hardening process.
• Application: the adhesive is applied to one of the cylindrical surfaces, preferably the external one, to fill all the gaps in the thread.
