Melkib UV 200P glue is a single-component glue hardened with UV rays. Created to ensure exceptional strength and durability of connections, especially in the context of joining glass to glass and glass to metal. Thanks to its unique properties, this adhesive provides excellent resistance to a variety of operating conditions, including thermal cycling, impact and prolonged exposure to moisture and water immersion.

Properties:

  • Fast curing: Adhesives cure in seconds under the influence of UV/VIS light (200 ~ 400 nm), significantly speeding up production processes.
  • Resistance to operational conditions: provides excellent resistance to thermal cycling, impact and long-term moisture.
  • Excellent adhesion: characterized by exceptional adhesion to glass and metals, which allows you to create strong and durable connections.
  • Halogen-free and RoHS compliant: meets the latest environmental and safety standards.

Application:

  • Ideal solution for optical, electronic, automotive and other specialized applications.
  • An excellent choice for applications exposed to moisture or direct immersion in water.

Storage method:

  • To preserve the properties of the adhesive, store it in a cool and dark place.
  • The product retains its properties for 12 months when stored at a temperature of 5 ~ 25°C in the original, unopened packaging.

How to use:

  1. Light protection: Limit product exposure to daylight and artificial UV light.
  2. Surface cleanliness: Before application, make sure that the glued surfaces are clean and free of grease.
  3. Application and curing: Irradiate the glued area with UV light with an intensity of 100 mW/cm² to ensure even hardening.
  4. Cooling of substrates: For temperature-sensitive materials such as thermoplastics, adequate cooling must be provided during curing.
