Properties Gadus S2 V220

Outstanding load carrying capacity
Shell Gadus S2 V220 contains specially selected anti-wear additives that maintain the lubricant film even under high or shock loads.

Improved mechanical stability
This property is particularly important in the presence of vibrations, where the poor mechanical resistance of the lubricant can cause loss of lubricating properties and leakage of the lubricant.

Good resistance to water washout
Shell Gadus S2 V220 greases are resistant to water washout.

Oxidation stability
Specially selected base oil fractions provide excellent resistance to oxidation. Their consistency does not change during storage and they are able to work at high temperatures without hardening or forming deposits.

Corrosion resistance
Due to their affinity to
metal surfaces,
against corrosion, even in the presence of large amounts of
water.
