Painting masking tape - types

The most popular type is paper masking tape, intended for general painting and protection applications. The creamy, slightly creped tape is great for short-term painting work, but also for sealing, fixing and bonding lightweight packaging.

The adhesive system of the paper tape is based on natural rubber, so it can be used on various surfaces and achieve solid fixing. The method of application is easy and hassle-free - just tear off a piece of it with your hand. This type of tape is characterized by thermal resistance up to 80°C (for 30 minutes).

In the Melkib store you can also buy a tape that has been designed for powder coating. Green masking tape is a high-temperature tape. Its high thermal resistance (up to 200°C for 30 minutes) allows for precise surface protection and the creation of sharp color edges thanks to good paint adhesion.

The green, semi-transparent Tesa 50620 tape is a product made of polyester carrier material and coated with silicone adhesive. It works well as a painting masking tape, providing great stability, high tensile strength and the possibility of removal without leaving any glue residue.

Its transparency allows you to see what has been covered at any time. It is available in two sizes to choose from. Each of them is a 100 m roll, making it sufficient to cover even large spaces.
