A large proportion of adhesives and sealants, both single-component and two-component, need a gun or dispensing system for dispensing. This is necessary to properly mix the ingredients (in the case of 2K adhesives) and apply the product to the surface to be bonded.

Which glue gun to choose?

When choosing dispensing equipment, consider factors such as:

• the viscosity of the extruded mass - the higher it is, the more powerful a pneumatic gun we need or a gun with a greater gear ratio in the case of manual guns
• the amount of glue consumption - with continuous production, a dosing system or a pneumatic gun is a much better solution, which does not tire the employee's hand as much as a manual gun. In the case of occasional use, e.g. in the maintenance department, a manual squeezer will be completely sufficient and cheaper to buy.
• the number of product components, mixing ratio and cartridge size - both manual and pneumatic guns should be adjusted to the size of the cartridge (25ml, 37ml, 50ml, 310ml, 400ml, 490ml), check whether the adhesive is one or two-component. The proportions are also important - we usually meet 1: 1, 1: 2 and 1:10
