Accessories for LRTM molds

LRTM technology, i.e. Light Resin Transfer Molding, is a method of producing a laminate in a closed mold, into which resin is then pressed under appropriate pressure / vacuum to take the right shape. In the LRTM technology, the so-called counter mould, which is clamped using a vacuum to the space between the seals. They are placed around the perimeter of each mold. Resin injection takes place in a low pressure environment, but assisted by vacuum.

Forms, however, are not everything, because for the proper use of the LRTM technology, additional accessories are needed, which are in our offer. We offer a variety of accessories for LRTM moulds, including:

Receptacles for LRTM molds from our offer are universal. This means that they fit all types of quick couplers in our range. The sockets are made of resistant materials (stainless steel and others) so that the permanent mounting in the form of LRTM and subsequent work do not violate its structure. This allows intensive exploitation of sockets without the risk of failure.

Quick connector for LRTM from our offer takes three main forms that differ only in diameter. The material of manufacture remains the same. The available sizes of quick couplers for LRTM molds are:

• Ø10;
• Ø11;
• Ø12.

The product, which is the LRTM quick coupling, is an accessory that allows you to quickly and easily connect the drain and inlet hoses, through which the resin is transported to and from the mold.

O-rings are made of silicone material to facilitate self-service of the quick coupler without the need to order the services of a specialist. The package contains a set of gaskets in the number of two pieces.

We also offer mold cones. Our assortment includes both flat and tall LRTM mold cone. Both types are designed to be self-centering. Their task is to secure the punch and the mold so that they fit together in the right way in the technology of molds composed of two parts. Both types of cones have a diameter of 25 mm, the flat cone is lower than the tall one. Its height is 14.5 mm and the high cone is 20 mm. Each type of cone is made of the highest quality stainless steel resistant to wear and external factors.

The LRTM twisted sleeves in our offer are used for assembling multi-part molds. This type of sleeve is made of stainless steel, and its task is to fix the parts of the LRTM molds and press them down with the appropriate force to ensure tightness when injecting the resin into the mold.
