There are three types of engine oils: mineral, synthetic and semi-synthetic. The first type works primarily with older equipment. It exhibits weaker properties than synthetic oil, which allows the engine to run smoothly even at high pressure and high temperature. Artificial oils provide great protection for the moving parts of the drive unit. They are characterized by low viscosity and precise distribution over the surface. Semi-synthetic versions combine the features of mineral and synthetic oils. They provide good engine protection, although they have slightly worse properties than synthetic oils.
