What is graphite grease and how does it work?

Graphite grease is a composition of high-purity graphite with mineral or synthetic carriers. After application, the graphite:

• fills metal surface irregularities, reducing friction even at boundary loads,
• creates a dry, electrically insulating coating resistant to washout and contaminant accumulation,
• protects against corrosion thanks to anti-oxidation additives,
• stabilizes the operation of mechanisms over a wide temperature range.
