Loctite® 97152 dual-channel controller uses the latest microprocessor technology to
create a user-friendly control system for workstations in production environments. The controller consists of a microcontroller core, a user interface keyboard and a graphical LCD display. A solenoid valve module and a precise pressure regulator are integrated into the device.
Optionally, an external solenoid valve module can be connected. Multipolar interfaces allow easy connection to peripheral devices (valves, tanks, dosing and
flow monitors or PLC).
The keyboard allows the user to easily change the dosing time, pressure and setting mode. All adjustments and an overview of the system status are displayed on the screen.
The 97153 controller program provides various selection directories for controlling peripheral devices
units for the implementation of a multifunctional dosing system. To activate the required peripheral unit, the corresponding settings of the system menu and channel menu are activated one by one on the digital display. Any peripheral device that is not needed must be turned off (Off).
The system controls only activated peripheral units, even if additional inactive units are installed. This allows you to choose different combinations of components from the Connected Dosing System Components, according to your specific dosing task. Up to 4 different dispensing applications with different dosing parameters can be set and saved. These applications, stored for up to 4 different parts, can be run using the keyboard or via the main controller. No regulation of the product pressure in the tank can then be made or must be done manually. For statistical process control, the data provided by the on-line flow monitor can be transmitted from each channel via a standard serial interface.
Optional peripherals include:
- 1 DC servo motor (mainly for dosing pumps),
- 1 external solenoid valve module 97204,
- up to 2 dosing valves
- up to 2 sliding guides with a pair of end position switches each
- up to 2 electric rotosprays,
- product tank with low-level and empty sensors,
- 2 external sensors for detecting the product on the part,
- 2 preamplifiers for on-line flow monitoring.
In the case of work in linear production or other automated working environments, the following
messages can be analyzed by a higher level controller:
- readiness signal,
- refilling and emptying signals from the product tank
- as well as all other failure signals as a collective signal.
The individual steps of the automatic dosing cycle can be controlled via the manual adjustment menu.
