New at Melkib: technologies that help reduce downtime and costs

In industry, a “small detail” can stop a line: moisture inside a control cabinet, condensation in an enclosure, unprotected electronics, the wrong lubricant selection, or a fixing that won’t survive real operating conditions. That’s why we expand our offer so you have solutions for specific problems — not random substitutes.

That’s why new brands and product range extensions have joined Melkib: MIOTTI and DOLPH’S in electrical maintenance, ANDEROL in lubrication, and FISCHER in fixings. The goal is simple: easier selection, predictable results, and less “firefighting” in maintenance.

Why do we start with electrical maintenance?

Because moisture and condensation are among the most common — and also the most “sneaky” — causes of issues in automation: from corrosion of components to signal errors and electronics failures. In practice, it’s not only about repairing damage, but also about prevention, meaning:

  • reducing condensation in enclosures and cabinets,
  • protecting electronics/PCBs against environmental impact.

This is exactly where MIOTTI and DOLPH’S solutions come in.

MIOTTI – anti-condensation heaters: prevention instead of failures

If you see condensation inside your control cabinets or enclosures (temperature differences, humid environments, seasonal operation), it’s worth taking a systematic approach. Anti-condensation heaters help maintain internal conditions at a level that reduces the risk of condensation.

What do you gain in practice?

  • lower risk of moisture-related problems (depending on the application),
  • more stable operating conditions for components inside the enclosure,
  • easier preventive maintenance (instead of repeatedly “drying out the effects”).

In selected MIOTTI heater models, you may find designs based on multi-strand heating elements (e.g., 5 separate filaments), which supports more even heat distribution. If standards and safety are critical, pay attention to certifications listed in product documentation.

DOLPH’S – electrical insulating coatings: protecting electronics and PCBs

Industrial electronics doesn’t operate in a “lab.” Dust, moisture, fumes, temperature changes — all of it impacts reliability. Electrical insulating coatings (conformal coating) help protect boards and components from environmental exposure, and in service work they often determine whether a repair is truly durable.

What do you gain in practice?

  • protection of critical points on electronics (depending on the chosen coating and process),
  • easier application control with UV tracer versions (if the product includes it),
  • the ability to match the product to operating conditions and application method (e.g., service/production).

In the DOLPH’S range you’ll find, among others, SYNTHITE coating lines (for example: AC-46 and ER-41). Differences between variants (including drying time, protection level, and process compatibility) are described on product pages — base your choice on the working environment, required drying time, and the expected protection level.

ANDEROL – lubrication that has to work in harsh conditions

In lubrication, it’s not about “the cheapest option,” but about stable performance of the lubricated node. Properly selected lubricants can reduce wear, improve repeatability, and decrease the number of service interventions — especially where water, high loads, or high temperatures are present.

What do you gain in practice?

  • more predictable operation (depending on the application and selection),
  • fewer ad-hoc stoppages caused by lubrication issues,
  • in selected solutions: products approved for applications requiring NSF H1 (if you need solutions for sensitive industries).

If you want a selection “matched to conditions,” prepare three details: operating temperature, load, and presence of water/cleaning agents. This is usually enough to significantly narrow down the options.

FISCHER – fixings and chemical anchors: when it “has to hold”

A poorly selected fixing is not only about rework. It’s the risk of failure, substrate damage, and problems during operation. That’s why we’re expanding the FISCHER offer at Melkib — both in plugs and chemical anchors, including injection systems.

What do you gain in practice?

  • easier selection for the substrate and application,
  • for chemical anchors: installation without typical “expansion pressure” like in some mechanical solutions (depending on the system),
  • greater confidence in demanding applications where the substrate or installation conditions are challenging.

In the range you’ll find, among others, FIS VL chemical anchors. Always check the specific product page for detailed applications and installation requirements.

How we select at Melkib (so you don’t buy “blind”)

If you remember one thing: selection starts with the application, not the product name. If you want us to narrow it down to 1–2 sensible options, send:

  • the problem (condensation / PCB protection / lubrication / fixing),
  • operating conditions (humidity, temperature, water, load, chemicals),
  • material/substrate (for fixings) or the area to protect (for electrical maintenance).

As a result, you get an “application-based” recommendation — and only then do we choose the specific product in the store.

FAQ – quick answers

Do I need specialist equipment to inspect a coating with UV tracer?
Usually, an appropriate UV lamp is enough — the key point is whether the coating includes a UV tracer (check the product description).

When is an anti-condensation heater better than “temporary drying”?
When the problem keeps returning (seasonally, with temperature changes) and you want prevention instead of reacting after the fact.

What’s the fastest way to choose a lubricant for harsh conditions?
Provide operating temperature, load, and whether water/cleaning agents are present. This most often narrows the selection quickly.

What’s critical for chemical anchors?
Substrate, hole diameter/depth, hole cleaning method, and installation conditions. In practice, these determine the final performance.
