Mobil Velocite OIL no.6 ISO 10 208L spindle oil for tool machines, high-speed bearings, lathes, rust protection, corrosion protection, oxidation resistance, water separation
Description
Mobil Velocite NO.6 - the highest quality oil intended for the lubrication of high-speed tool machine spindles. Oils of the appropriate viscosity grade can be used in hydraulic circulating systems and in-line oilers. The oil is based on high-quality, low-viscosity oils, a unique package of very good enriching additives, ensuring high resistance to oxidation, protection against rust and corrosion, foaming, and easily separates from water.
Features and advantages
Excellent properties of the oil provide the highest level of lubrication and protection, keeping the rolling bearings in perfect condition, keeping them at low temperatures, which is required in today's precision tool machines. Although the Velocite series oils have been developed for spindle bearings, their superior properties allow these products to be used in low pressure hydraulic systems or as a circulating oil, provided the viscosity is properly selected.
Good oxidation resistance | Helps reduce the formation of dangerous deposits Prolongs oil life< /td> |
Very good protection against rust and corrosion | Extends equipment life Contributes to increased precision for a long time |
Effective water separation | Prevents emulsion formation Protects lubricated parts from moisture< br />Easier to remove moisture from system tanks |
Applications
- Bearings of high-speed spindles of tool machines and equipment operating at high speeds
- Precision mills, lathes, drills and machine tools
- For sleeve type spindle bearings with larger clearances, the choice of viscosity depends on the ratio of clearance to spindle speed
- Low-pressure hydraulic systems, for which oil with the right viscosity is selected
- For some precision instruments such as telescopes, laboratory equipment, etc
