Properties
Loctite NS 5540 is a pasty sealant for sealing joints exposed to extremely high temperatures up to 700°C and high pressures up to 200 bar. It hardens under the influence of temperature. It can be used to seal both flange and threaded connections. It does not permanently connect elements - it is possible to disassemble them.

Instructions for use
- For best results, clean and de-deast with Loctite 7063
- Apply the product evenly over the entire sealed surface
- The product can be used with a current seal. Then you need to cover both sides of the seal and the sealed element with a thin layer.
- Install the connection according to the manufacturer's recommendations
- Heat the product to min. 150 °C and wait until it is cured.
Storage
Store in dry and cool rooms at temperatures between +8ºC and 21°C. If the product is stored in a place where temperatures other than those recommended are present, the product may irreversibly lose all its properties. Do not put the remnants of the product back into the original packaging, as the entire product could become contamination.
