Description

WEICON Green Tube Assembly Adhesive 280 ml is a strong, water-based acrylic assembly adhesive designed for installation, repair and finishing work indoors and outdoors. It provides high initial tack and excellent final strength, and once cured it can be sanded, plastered and painted with most commercially available paints and varnishes. The white, elastic adhesive is low-emission, solvent-free and ideal for universal assembly applications on absorbent substrates.

Advantages and unique features

  • High initial tack – secure fixing right after pressing the part into place.
  • Universal use – for wood and wood-based panels, PVC, polystyrene, EPS boards, rigid PU foam, mineral materials and metal on absorbent substrates.
  • Can be sanded, plastered and painted after drying – easy integration of the joint into the finished surface.
  • Temperature resistance from -20 °C to +80 °C – suitable for interior and exterior applications.
  • Low-emission, dispersion-based formulation without solvents – improved working comfort and reduced environmental impact.
  • Eco-friendly Green Tube packaging – 100% cardboard cartridge body with recycled plastic components, lower CO₂ emissions than conventional cartridges.

Properties and applications

  • Mounting of wooden and board elements: skirting boards, decorative profiles, panels, chipboard and other cladding boards on absorbent substrates.
  • Bonding of plastics: PVC, polystyrene, expanded polystyrene boards, rigid PU foam (e.g. insulation boards, cable ducts) to plaster, concrete, plasterboard and fibre-cement boards.
  • Finishing work: fixing profiles, trims, fit-out elements and details in renovation and new-build projects.
  • Bonding mineral materials: tiles, light decorative elements and small prefabricated parts on absorbent substrates.
  • Bonding metal to absorbent substrates: strips, angles and brackets mounted to concrete, plaster or bare wood.
