WEICON Green Tube Flex 310 M F1X grey 280 ml set – flexible MS polymer adhesive and sealant with nozzle
Description
WEICON Green Tube Flex 310 M F1X grey – flexible adhesive and sealant with very high initial adhesion
WEICON Green Tube Flex 310 M F1X is a grey, permanently flexible adhesive and sealant based on one-component MS polymer. Its very high initial adhesion facilitates the permanent fixing of components on vertical surfaces and even overhead. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications and can be used to bond and seal metals, many plastics, ceramics, wood, glass, stone and other compatible materials.
The Green Tube packaging consists of a cardboard cartridge body with an internal foil pouch. The cartridge tip and cap are made from recycled plastic. This design reduces plastic consumption and carbon dioxide emissions compared with conventional plastic cartridges without compromising application performance.
What does the set contain?
- 1 Green Tube containing 280 ml of grey WEICON Flex 310 M F1X adhesive and sealant,
- 1 Clip Nozzle for product application.
Please note: the cartridge gun is not included. The Green Tube can be applied using a standard manual or pneumatic gun suitable for 310 ml cartridges.
Applications
WEICON Flex 310 M F1X can be used for:
- fixing skirting boards, decorative strips, battens and profiles,
- bonding frames, panels, boards, tiles and stone elements,
- bonding and sealing metal components,
- joining many plastics, ceramics, wood, glass and stone,
- bonding EPDM foil after confirming material compatibility,
- drywall construction and interior finishing,
- metal construction, tank construction and apparatus engineering,
- container construction, shopfitting and exhibition stand construction,
- ventilation and air-conditioning technology,
- yacht and boat construction,
- applications where silicone or silicone-containing products are unsuitable.
Key properties and benefits
- very high initial adhesion,
- suitable for vertical and overhead bonding,
- permanently flexible bond resistant to vibration and component movement,
- suitable for indoor and outdoor use,
- weathering, moisture, ageing, mould and UV resistant,
- can be overpainted using the wet-on-wet method,
- can be sanded after curing,
- suitable for powder coating after four days of curing,
- short-term temperature resistance up to +180 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes,
- free from silicones, isocyanates, halogens and solvents,
- non-corrosive formulation,
- Green Tube packaging with a reduced plastic content.
Surface preparation
The surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust, dirt and other substances that may impair adhesion. Depending on the substrate and operating conditions, mechanical preparation or the use of a suitable adhesion promoter may be required.
Due to the wide variety of plastics, coatings and composite materials available, adhesion and material compatibility should always be tested before the final application. Some low-surface-energy plastics may require special preparation or may not be suitable for bonding.
Application
- Remove the cap and cartridge tip.
- Carefully cut open the internal foil pouch directly below its closure.
- Replace the cap and attach the Clip Nozzle.
- Cut the nozzle to obtain the required bead width.
- Place the Green Tube in a suitable cartridge gun.
- Apply the adhesive evenly to the prepared substrate.
- Join and correctly position the components before a skin forms.
- If necessary, secure or support the components until sufficient handling strength is achieved.
The actual curing time depends on the adhesive layer thickness, temperature, ambient humidity and the type of materials being bonded.

FAQ
What is included in the WEICON Green Tube Flex 310 M F1X set?
The set contains one Green Tube with 280 ml of grey adhesive and sealant and one Clip Nozzle.
Is a cartridge gun included?
No. The cartridge gun is not included. The product can be applied using a standard manual or pneumatic gun suitable for 310 ml cartridges.
Can the adhesive be used on vertical surfaces?
Yes. Its very high initial adhesion facilitates bonding on vertical surfaces and overhead. Heavy components may still require temporary support until sufficient handling strength is achieved.
Can the product be used outdoors?
Yes. After curing, the material is resistant to weathering, moisture, ageing, mould and UV radiation, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Is it suitable for all plastics?
No universal compatibility with every plastic can be assumed. An adhesion and compatibility test should be performed before use. Some plastics may require special surface preparation.
Can the cured joint be painted?
The product can be painted using the wet-on-wet method, no later than approximately three hours after application. It can also be powder coated after four days of curing. Compatibility with the selected coating should be tested beforehand.
