Mobil Vactra No.1 - High-quality oil for sliding guides, specially designed to meet the most stringent requirements of modern of machine tools, in terms of accuracy, separation of coolants and protection of operated equipment.
The Vactra range of oils is based on rigorously selected, high quality base stocks and selected advanced additives which together provide fine friction control, compatibility with water based cutting fluids, corrosion and rust protection. The friction properties allow for smooth operation between a wide range of friction materials, such as steel and steel, steel and polymers. This reduces the effect of "stick-slip" vibrations and surface corrugations. This ensures smooth movement of the sliding surfaces, greater accuracy of machined surfaces, thus increasing the accuracy of the machine and increasing the service life of machines and tools. Oil designed to best separate from coolants and better protect components from corrosion caused by high pH coolants.

Applications
It is recommended to lubricate guide systems in machine tools. They are designed to lubricate combinations of cast iron, steel and non-metallic sliding materials. The oil can be applied by hand, with pressurized lubricators or in a free-circulation oil system.
• No. 1 and No. 2 is recommended for horizontal slides in small and medium machines. They are also suitable for use in circulating systems in large machines and as hydraulic oil in machine tools operating under moderate loads.
• No. 3 and No. 4 usually recommended for large machines with high guideway pressures and where high precision is required. They are also recommended for vertical and inclined guides, where oil draining may be difficult, for gear mechanisms in machine tools operating under moderate loads.
• can be used to lubricate ball screws, linear guides, headstocks, transfer screws.
• recommended for applications where contamination of the water coolant with conventional mineral oil reduces coolant service life.
