Molykote 106
Molykote 106 is a high temperature cured anti-friction coating designed for the lubrication of dry metal/metal surfaces. This product offers long-term wear protection and excellent load-bearing capacity, making it ideal for applications where oil or grease lubrication is not possible or desirable.
Applications
- Dry lubrication for metal/metal combinations under high load and low speed conditions
- Permanent lubrication of highly loaded friction combinations with low speed or oscillating movement
- Used where the use of oils or greases is not possible due to the risk of contamination
- Lubrication of locks, hinges, joints, magnetic fittings and engine and transmission components

Storage and use recommendations
- Store in original sealed containers at temperatures between 0°C and 40°C
- Shelf life is 36 months from production date
- Clean and degrease surfaces to be coated thoroughly before application
- Sandblasting or phosphating is recommended to increase adhesion coatings
- The product should be applied by spraying, dipping, centrifugal or brushing and then cured for 60 minutes at 150°C
