FAQ – frequently asked questions
Do ABENA nitrile gloves contain latex?
The gloves are made from synthetic nitrile rubber and do not contain natural rubber latex. This does not completely exclude the possibility of an individual reaction to other glove components. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Are the gloves suitable for contact with food?
Yes. The manufacturer’s documentation confirms that they are suitable for food handling. Follow hygiene procedures and replace the gloves when changing tasks.
Can these gloves be used when working with chemicals?
The gloves meet relevant requirements for protection against selected chemicals and microorganisms, but they do not provide equal protection against every substance. Check compatibility and the required protection time before use.
Are the gloves sterile?
No. These are non-sterile gloves intended for diagnostic examinations, hygiene tasks and other applications that do not require a sterile product.
How should I select the correct glove size?
The glove should fit the hand without excessive pressure or stretching. A glove that is too small is more likely to tear, while an oversized glove reduces grip precision. Select the required size from the available variants.
Can the gloves be reused?
No. The gloves are intended for single use. Replace them after contamination, damage, a change of task or contact with material that may cause cross-contamination.
