Storage method:
- Temperature: The oil should be stored in a dry and cool place, at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
- Containers: Oil should be stored in its original, sealed containers, such as metal or plastic drums, to avoid air, moisture and contamination.
- Use of pallets: Store oil containers on pallets to avoid contact with the ground, which can lead to corrosion of metal containers.
- Labelling: Make sure oil containers are properly labeled, indicating oil type, date of manufacture, and expiration date.
- Condition check: Regularly check the condition of the containers and the quality of the stored oil to avoid possible problems due to improper storage.
- Safety: Use appropriate precautions, such as placing containers in areas designated for the storage of flammables and chemicals. In the event of an oil spill, use sorbents to quickly remove the substance from the ground.
