KONTAKT 61 is a specialist cleaner, lubricant and anti-corrosion agent for electrical contacts and moving electromechanical parts. The 200 ml aerosol dissolves greasy contamination, oils and resinous deposits, displaces moisture and forms a thin lubricating and protective film.
APPLICATION
- Cleaning contaminated contacts; KONTAKT 60 is recommended for corroded contacts.
- Lubricating sliding and plug-in connections to reduce wear susceptibility of contact surfaces.
- Protecting contact surfaces against moisture and corrosion.
BENEFITS
- Dissolves greasy contamination, oils and resinous deposits.
- Displaces moisture and forms a thin lubricating and protective film.
- Under normal conditions, the film does not affect electrical conductivity.

INSTRUCTIONS
- A tube applicator is included. Spray generously to clean the contact surface.
- A few drops on each contact pair are sufficient to form a lubricating and protective film.
- The cleaning action can be assisted mechanically by operating a switch several times or inserting and removing a plug.
- For very dirty or corroded contacts, KONTAKT 60 is recommended.
- To limit wear on contacts made of soft precious metals (plated), the synthetic contact lubricant KONTAKT GOLD 2000 is recommended.
LIMITATIONS AND SAFETY
- Remove all sources of ignition before use. Do not spray onto equipment that is energised.
- At very low voltages, e.g. < 1 V, the field strength may be insufficient to break through the oil film. Individual testing is required for such applications.
