Koraplast SF 60g

Koraplast SF is a contact adhesive based on polyurethane (PUR), containing solvents. It can be used as a single- or two-component cold contact adhesive. This product is ideal for bonding materials exposed to high stress, such as leather, PVC, PUR, rubber and plastics, especially in the automotive industry.

Storage and use recommendations

• Store at temperatures above +10°C for a maximum of 12 months.
• The containers must be tightly closed to avoid solvent evaporation.
• Before using the adhesive, it must be stored for at least 3 days at a temperature between +25°C and +35°C if previously stored at lower temperatures. temperatures.
• Leather, rubber and PUR soles should be thoroughly roughened before applying the glue.
• PUR soles should be primed with Kö-PUR.
• PVC should be thoroughly washed and rubber should be halogenated with Halosol S or Halosol 6.

Gluing process

• To improve resistance to heat, moisture, oils, fats and plasticizers, mix 5-10% of Köracur TR 400 or TR 280 hardener with the glue.
• Apply the glue to the surface, taking into account the open times.
• Absorbent materials should be covered twice.
• Wait 5-20 minutes for drying, combine the materials and press.
• If the contact time is exceeded, cold, activate one side at +40°C to +50°C, connect and press.
• The pressing time depends on the hardness of the material and is approximately 8-15 seconds.
