Loctite 638 green anaerobic adhesive for mounting bearings and coaxial parts, high strength, fast curing, high viscosity, universal, all metal, P1 NSF, DVGW, WRAS approved
Description
Properties
Loctite 638 is a one-component anaerobic adhesive for fixing coaxial parts. The product has high strength, designed for general use. It works on both metals and passive surfaces. It hardens when air access is cut off on metal surfaces. Prevents loosening of coaxial joints. Tolerates slight contamination with oils and anti-corrosion liquids.
Use
- embedding of coaxial joints (bearings, gears, pulleys, etc.)
Advantages
- resistant to high temperatures
- high durability
- tolerates minor impurities
- works additionally on passive surfaces
- Approvals: P1 NSF Approval No: 123010
- Compliant with German DVGW(EN 751-1): NG-5146AR0619
- WRAS approval (BS 6920): 0511518

Storage
The ideal way to store it will be to leave it in closed containers in a cool and dry room at a temperature between 8°C and 21°C. Storage above 28°C or below 8°C can irreversibly change the properties of the product. Do not put the remnants of the product back in the original container so as not to damage the remaining material in it.
