Loctite EA 9464 50 ml 2-part structural epoxy gray adhesive, fast curing, high strength, universal, for metal, thermoplastics, thermosetting laminates, SMC sheets, thixotropic
Description
LOCTITE EA 9464 50 ml is a two-component, thixotropic epoxy adhesive with fast handling strength. It cures at room temperature to form strong bonds on metals, plastics, ceramics and construction materials; the non-sag paste is ideal for gap filling and vertical applications.
Benefits and unique features
- Fast handling strength – shortened working time.
- Thixotropic paste – non-sag, easy application and gap filling.
- High bond strength on metals, composites, hard plastics and ceramics.
- Good shear and peel performance; heat can accelerate cure.
- Simple 1:1 volumetric mix – convenient 50 ml cartridge with static mixer.
Properties and applications
- Substrates: metals (steel, aluminium, galvanized), phenolic plastics, polyester/GRP, hard plastics (ABS, PC), ceramics, rubber, masonry.
- Typical uses: metal/composite assembly, repairs, hardware bonding, panel bonding and woodworking joints, gap filling.
- Curing: room-temperature cure; accelerated by heat.
