Properties

LOCTITE Frekote PMC, thanks to the appropriate combination of special solvents, perfectly copes with the dissolution and removal of wax from polyester molds without the risk of tarnishing the surface. Thanks to its strong properties, Frekote PMC has numerous applications and is recommended for cleaning the surface of polyester molds before using sealants.

Use

LOCTITE Frekote PMC is ideal for dissolving and removing wax from surface molds. The product is also often used to clean brushes and equipment, as well as the surfaces of epoxy and metal molds. The agent should be used in well-ventilated rooms.

Instructions for use

- the selected surface should be wiped with a clean, non-pilling cotton cloth soaked in frekote PMC
- the dissolving wax should be collected with a cloth, and when the cloth is already soaked with wax, it should be discarded and a new one should be used
- repeat the operation cyclically on small areas up to 1 m², until they are completely cleaned
- after the application of PMC, wipe the cleaned form dry

Storage

Frekote PMC contains flammable solvents. For this reason, current safety rules must be observed. Also, do not store the product near oxidants and combustible materials. The product should be stored at a temperature of 8 to 21 °C in dry rooms. PMC frekotas should be stored in the original, tightly closed container. To avoid contamination of the agent, do not mix the unused product with the remnants left over from the work carried out.
