Description
LOCTITE SF 7649 150 ml is an activator (primer) that accelerates the cure of anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It enables fast cure on passive metals, larger gaps and at low ambient temperatures.

Properties and applications
- Applications: anaerobic priming for retaining, threadlocking, thread sealing and gasketing.
- How to use: apply a thin coat to one/both surfaces, allow solvent to flash off (about 30–70 s), then apply the anaerobic product and assemble.
- On-part life: up to 30 days if surfaces remain clean.

Storage & safety notes
Highly flammable; store cool and dry, away from oxidisers and ignition sources. Light-sensitive. Do not mix directly with liquid adhesive; use in well-ventilated areas and check compatibility with plastics.

When anaerobic cure is slow (passive metals, low temperature or larger gaps) or very fast fixture is required.
2) How long after activation can I assemble?
Up to 30 days if the surface remains clean and uncontaminated.

Yes, it is registered to NSF/ANSI 61 (no food contact). Always confirm approvals of the anaerobic product you use.
