Product description
LOCTITE DOUBLE BUBBLE adheres to a wide variety of materials (wood, metal, plastic, ceramics) and hardens quickly to add handling force in approximately 5 minutes. Packed in a handy sachet and supplied complete with a mixing stick and pallet, this product is suitable for quick assembly of small components or for quick and effective repair
Application tips:
1. The bonding surfaces should be clean and degreased. Clean
all surfaces with Loctite
cleaning solvent and leave until
dry.
2. For maximum durability, the surface abrasion is
Recommended. Fine or medium grain abrasive cloth or
sandpaper is best. Wash after wiping.
3. Pour the resin and hardener from the bags onto the mixing palette supplied
.
4. Mix the resin and hardener on the palette with the stirring stick until
the product is a uniform color. The glue
is packed in a pre-measured kit. This ensures consistency
performance as resin and hardener are always
correctly measured
5. For maximum bond strength, apply glue evenly
to both surfaces to be joined.
6. The substrate should be applied within 3
minutes. Larger amounts and / or higher temperatures
will shorten the working time.
7. Join the glued surfaces and allow to cure.
Higher temperatures will speed up curing.
8. Prevent assembled parts from shifting while curing. The bond
should be able to develop its full strength sooner
to undergo any operational loads.
9. Excess uncured adhesive can be removed with
ketone type solvents.
