Product description
LOXEAL 58-31is a one-component flexible anaerobic sealant with medium strength and high thermal resistance for flat seals, protecting against leaks and corrosion. The product hardens after cutting off the air (oxygen) supply in the gap between the two metal surfaces. It is particularly useful where high chemical and thermal resistance as well as quick solidification time of the gasket in the flange are required
Application
The adhesive creates a flexible joint that sufficiently protects the flange connection against leaks and replaces other seals: rubber, pressboard, paper, etc. The product is resistant to gas, air, water, oils, alkalis and many other chemicals, as well as to impacts and vibrations. It maintains its properties in a wide range of operating temperatures. It is particularly used for sealing rigid, tight-fitting flange joints. The adhesive also guarantees 100% protection against corrosion and immediate tightness immediately after connecting the flange. The addition of a fluorescing substance allows the presence of glue in the joint to be detected using a UV lamp.
