Loxeal 5811 50ml anaerobic glue thread locker high heat resistance
Description
LOXEAL 58-11 is a one-component anaerobic medium-strength, high-viscosity modified PTFE for sealing metallic tapered-cylindrical threads of various sizes of hydraulic and pneumatic components. The product is also anti-corrosive. Hardening of the product takes place after cutting off the supply of air (oxygen) in the gap between the two metal surfaces (in the thread). The product is especially used where difficult disassembly is required and high media pressures in sealed installations may occur. The thixotropic properties prevent sealant migration during assembly. The adhesive is shock and vibration resistant. Loxeal 58-11 is an approved thread sealant for gas installations (DVGW according to DIN EN 751-1), high pressure gas installations and LPG installations up to 20 bar (Australian Gas Association - Approval No. 5048). It has also been approved for oxygen installations at operating pressures up to 10 bar and temperatures up to + 60 ° C (BAM 1432/95 4-755). It is approved for use in drinking water installations (WRAS No. 1310513). It is registered in the NSF P1 category (No. 141234) as a sealant approved for use in the area of food production and processing.
Usage
The glue creates an elastic joint, which, sealing the thread, replaces other sealing methods: yarn, tow, paste, Teflon tape, etc. The product is resistant to gas, air, water, oils, alkalis, fuels and many other chemicals as well as shock and vibration. It maintains its properties in a wide range of operating temperatures. It is especially used where occasional disassembly of threaded connections with normal tools is required. The addition of a fluorescent substance allows the presence of glue in the thread to be detected using a UV lamp. The tightness of the connection is achieved when the coils in the thread are completely filled with glue. It also protects against corrosion.
