Mobilux EP 1 industrial grease NLGI viscosity grade 1 180kg for gears and bearings, less wear, protection against rust, corrosion, good pumpability

Mobilux EP 0, 1, 2, 3, 004 and 023 products form a family of four high performance general purpose industrial greases and two semi-fluid greases for special applications. Thickened with lithium hydroxystearate, these greases are formulated to provide excellent protection against wear, rust and water. They are available in NLGI grades 00 to 3 with base oil viscosity ISO VG 150 and 320.

Mobilux EP 0, 1, 2, and 3 greases are recommended for most industrial applications, including heavy duty applications where high unit pressures and shock loads are present. These greases provide excellent protection against rust and corrosion and are resistant to water washout, making them particularly suitable for equipment that operates in wet conditions. Mobilux EP 0 and 1 are used in central lubrication systems. Mobilux EP 2 and 3 are general purpose greases. Recommended operating temperatures: -20^oC to 130 ^oC, but can be used at higher temperatures if the lubrication frequency is increased accordingly.

Applications

     •  Mobilux EP 0 and EP 1 provide good low temperature pumpability and are suitable for centralized lubrication systems and those applications where a grease with good low temperature properties is required.

     •  Mobilux EP 2 is recommended for universal use in roller and plain bearings, bushings and pins under normal operating conditions.

     •  Mobilux EP 3 is a harder NLGI 3 grease recommended for applications where maximum protection against water or solid contamination ingress is required.

     •  Mobilux EP 004 and Mobilux EP 023 are particularly suitable for the lubrication of enclosed gears and bearings in poorly sealed gear cases in underground mining machinery, except for electric motor gears. Mobilux EP 004 and Mobilux EP 023 can also be used in many other industrial applications where conventional gear oils cannot be used in gearboxes, chain cases, etc. due to leakage due to worn or missing seals.
