Molykote 3400 A AFC Loadfree
Molykote 3400 A AFC Loadfree is a high performance heat-cured Anti-Friction Coating designed for use in metal/metal applications where slow to medium-speed movements and medium to heavy loads occur. Thanks to its excellent adhesion to metals and high load-bearing capacity, this product is ideal for applications requiring long-term lubrication and protection against wear.
Application
- Permanent lubrication and simultaneous protection against corrosion of friction contacts exposed to high loads and low speeds
- Used where oils or greases cannot be used for technical reasons or due to the risk of contamination
- Ideal for applications in the aerospace, automotive and machinery industries

Storage and handling recommendations
- Store at temperatures between 0°C and 23°C in original sealed containers
- Shelf life is 24 months from date of production
- Clean and degrease surfaces thoroughly before application
- It is recommended sandblasting or phosphating to increase adhesion and durability of the coating
- The product should be applied by spraying, immersion or dip-spin and then cured for 30 minutes at 200°C or 60 minutes at 150°C

During application, appropriate personal protective equipment should be used to avoid contact with eyes and skin.
