Description
Molykote HTP
Molykote HTP is a high-temperature lubricating paste designed for the lubrication of tools used in hot metal forming processes. This product is ideal for applications where high temperature resistance, friction and wear reduction, and increased tool life are required. The paste is PTFE and PFAS free, making it safe for various industrial applications.
Application
- Lubrication of hot forming tools such as hot forging presses and dies
- Release agent and slip additive at high temperatures
- Used for hot bending of flat St 37 or St 70 sheets, rolling of vehicle spring ends, folding of sheet edges and hot rolling of knives
- Lubrication of separator plates in chipboard presses

Recommendations for storage and use
- Store in the original, tightly closed container, at a temperature of up to 20°C
- Shelf life is 60 months from the date of production
- Apply a thin and even layer of paste with a brush or cloth to the cleaned tool surface
- Repeat application as needed to ensure continuous lubrication and protection of tools
