Nozzle, mixer for 2k adhesives, red, 10:1, 9cm, precise mixing, easy, quick application
Description
2K Mixing Nozzle Type B 50/75 ml, 4:1/10:1, 16 elements, 90.7 mm, Luer Slip — MXBQX516L
MXBQX516L – a static mixing nozzle for two-component (2K) materials for cartridges with a ratio of 4:1 and 10:1 and a capacity of 50 ml / 75 ml, featuring a type B bayonet connection (industry standard). 16 mixing elements provide a homogeneous mixture, and the Luer Slip outlet enables quick change of dispensing tips.
What is this nozzle for?
For mixing and dispensing 2K adhesives/sealants (epoxies, polyurethanes, acrylics, silicones) in assembly, service, prototyping and production. Mixing occurs during flow – without manual mixing and with reduced waste.
Why is it worth it?
• Homogeneity – 16 mixing stages (square profile).
• Control – Luer Slip outlet (6% taper) for quick change of needles/cannulas.
• Versatility – 4:1 and 10:1 cartridges, 50/75 ml capacity, B bayonet connection.
• Clean and economical – in-line mixing, less spillage and disposal.
Properties:
- Precise mixing: ensures even and accurate mixing of adhesive components, which guarantees optimal adhesive properties after curing.
- Speed and efficiency: allows faster and more efficient mixing than manual mixing, which speeds up adhesive application and reduces material losses.
- Ease of use: simple to operate, and mounting to suitable devices enables easy and precise adhesive dispensing.
- Economy: minimizes adhesive losses and reduces waste, translating into financial savings.
- Compatibility: available in various sizes and shapes to match specific application requirements and adhesives used.
Application:
Mixing nozzles are widely used in industries such as:
- construction,
- automotive,
- electronics,
- aerospace and shipbuilding
- used for applying structural adhesives,
- sealants,
- epoxy adhesives
- other multi-component materials
Mounting instructions in brief
1) Check on the cartridge: type B connection and 4:1 or 10:1 ratio (the ratio is determined by the cartridge).
2) Seat the nozzle on the bayonet and twist until it latches.
3) Purge the first centimeters to waste until the flow is uniform.
4) Apply evenly; after a break, replace the nozzle (a left-on nozzle can only serve as a temporary cap).

Frequently asked questions:
1. Does this nozzle fit my cartridge?
Yes, if the cartridge has a type B connection, a 4:1 or 10:1 ratio and a capacity of 50/75 ml.
2. Two “holes” at the inlet – does it support two ratios?
No. This is the standard dual A/B inlet in 2K nozzles; the ratio is determined by the cartridge.
3. Luer Slip or Luer Lock?
Luer Slip = quick “push-fit”; Luer Lock = threaded lock for very viscous materials/thin needles. This model is Luer Slip.
4. Can the nozzle be reused?
It is a single-use component. After a break, fit a new one to maintain mixing quality.
5. Why discard the first extruded centimeters of 2K adhesive with a new nozzle?
To achieve a 100% homogeneous mixture and the correct A:B ratio. The first section usually contains: (1) material from both channels still unmixed, (2) air from the system, (3) a temporary off-ratio. Purge at least the volume equal to the dead volume of the nozzle (~1.72 ml) — i.e., a few centimeters of continuous bead. For tinted adhesives, extrude until the color is fully uniform.
6. How to select the outlet needle?
The thinner the needle, the higher the pressure required. For viscous materials choose a larger needle diameter or a tip with a lock (Luer Lock adapter).
7. Does the MXBQX516L nozzle fit 25 ml cartridges or 1:1/2:1 systems with a type A connection?
No. This model is intended for 50/75 ml cartridges at 4:1 and 10:1 ratios with a type B bayonet connection. For 25 ml or 1:1/2:1 (type A) systems, choose a nozzle variant compatible with type A.
8. What does “05-16L” mean?
“05” ≈ diameter ~5.3 mm; “16” = 16 mixing elements; “L” = Luer outlet (Slip).
