Application

Pattex Standard wood glue is a ready-to-use glue based on polyvinyl acetate dispersion. It is intended for hot and cold gluing and edge banding. Thanks to the universal formula used, it allows:

assembly gluing, e.g. gluing bodies, dowels, projections, pins
gluing furniture and various types of wood
joint gluing, e.g. gluing wooden sticks, boards
sticking veneers and plastic veneers (except PVC, ABS and polyester)
surface gluing, e.g. gluing laminates to chipboards.
The joint is colorless and does not discolor the wood. Does not blunt tools. It is resistant to aging. The adhesive creates a joint that is resistant to short-term effects of water and meets the strength requirements of group D2 (according to PN-EN 204). The final strength of the joint is higher than the intrinsic strength of the wood. The joint formed by the glue is fully resistant to temperatures up to + 70 ° C and short-term exposure to + 95 ° C, which enables the veneering process. For gluing joints, where moisture resistance is required, use Pattex wood glue, waterproof wood glue.
