Opis produktu
Bäder Standard 50 ml inspection sealing lacquer in a cartridge for threaded connections
Bäder Standard 50 ml is an industrial inspection sealing lacquer manufactured by the German company Lackfabrik Bäder. Supplied in a cartridge intended for use with a compatible dispensing system, it is designed for inspection marking of screws, nuts and mechanical connections during manufacturing, assembly and quality assurance.
The lacquer creates a visible marking bridging two adjacent components, such as a screw head and the surrounding housing surface. Relative movement or interference may cause the seal to crack or become damaged, helping identify connections that require further inspection.
The 50 ml cartridge is particularly suitable for processes involving repeated application of inspection markings. The manufacturer recommends this packaging format for screw sizes M1–M48. Surface drying takes approximately 5 minutes, while full curing takes approximately 24 hours.
Applications of Bäder Standard 50 ml cartridge lacquer
Serial production and assembly operations
- Inspection marking of threaded connections after tightening and verification.
- Repeated application of markings using appropriately selected dispensing equipment.
- Identification of connections that have passed an assembly inspection.
- Marking adjustment elements, housings and mechanical assemblies.
Manufacturing quality assurance
- Visually identifying components that have undergone specified inspection procedures.
- Creating inspection seals that may reveal possible interference with a connection.
- Identifying positional changes during subsequent inspections.
- Applying colour-coded inspection markings according to internal quality procedures.
Mechanical engineering and industrial maintenance
- Inspection sealing of screws and nuts in machinery and industrial equipment.
- Marking components after servicing, adjustment or inspection.
- Monitoring possible interference with marked housings, gearboxes and mechanical assemblies.
- Supporting periodic inspection procedures using visible seals.
Key features of Bäder Standard 50 ml cartridge
- Cartridge designed for dispensing systems – allows the application method to be adapted to the assembly process.
- Suggested screw sizes M1–M48 – as specified by the manufacturer for the 50 ml cartridge.
- Flow characteristics – suitable for applying visible inspection markings.
- Visual indication of interference – cracking or damage to the seal may indicate movement between components.
- Excellent adhesion – to suitably prepared substrates.
- Resistance to selected media – the manufacturer declares resistance to substances including water and petrol.
- UV and weather resistance – in accordance with the Standard range documentation.
- Electrical insulating properties – the lacquer is electrically non-conductive.
- Various colours – support colour-coded inspection procedures.
When should you choose a cartridge instead of a tube?
The Bäder Standard 50 ml cartridge is an option for repeated inspection marking in manufacturing and assembly operations, especially when the dispensing method needs to be integrated into a specific workstation. A compatible applicator and dispensing tip must be selected, and the required amount of lacquer verified.
For occasional manual marking, such as during maintenance inspections, Bäder Standard in a tube may be more appropriate. The cartridge and tube differ in their application method, recommended screw sizes and declared storage life.
Bäder Standard – DIN 32546 compliance
DIN 32546 – class SL-2.1.GHS02
According to the manufacturer's declaration, Bäder Standard corresponds to class SL-2.1.GHS02 under DIN 32546. It is intended for creating visible inspection seals that help detect possible movement or tampering in threaded connections.
The marking should bridge the screw head or nut and an adjacent component. Movement between these elements may damage the seal.
Important: inspection sealing lacquer does not replace mechanical or chemical threadlocking methods or correct tightening. The effectiveness of the marking must be verified for the specific application.
How to apply Bäder Standard lacquer from a 50 ml cartridge
- Select dispensing equipment. Verify the compatibility of the applicator and dispensing tip with the specific 50 ml cartridge.
- Prepare the surface. Remove contamination that could impair adhesion.
- Inspect the connection. Complete the required assembly and tightening checks before applying the marking.
- Apply the seal. Create a continuous marking bridging the two components whose relative movement needs to be detected.
- Allow to dry. Surface drying takes approximately 5 minutes and full curing approximately 24 hours.
- Monitor the seal. During subsequent inspections, check for cracks, interruptions or other indications of disturbance.
Application tip: before incorporating the lacquer into a repeatable production process, test its adhesion, seal geometry and dispensing parameters on actual components. Do not assume compatibility with standard construction sealant guns.

Storage
Store the lacquer in its tightly closed original packaging, protected from sunlight and excessive heat. The manufacturer recommends cool storage, preferably at approximately 10–18°C.
According to the technical data sheet, the Standard Basic variant supplied in 30 ml and 50 ml cartridges has a shelf life of 6 months from manufacture when stored at room temperature of approximately 20°C. Observe the expiry date of the specific batch and the manufacturer's current storage instructions.
Safety and application limitations
Bäder Standard is a solvent-based lacquer. Follow the product label and current safety data sheet regarding ventilation, personal protective equipment and ignition sources.
Chemical resistance depends on the specific substance, exposure duration and operating conditions. Do not assume resistance to all solvents, acids or alkalis. Carry out tests on actual components for demanding applications.
FAQ – Bäder Standard 50 ml cartridge
Which screw sizes are recommended for the 50 ml cartridge?
The manufacturer specifies a suggested range of M1–M48. The size and application of the inspection seal must be adapted to the connection and dispensing system.
Can the cartridge be used for repeated marking on an assembly line?
Yes, provided compatible dispensing equipment is selected and the process is validated beforehand. Adhesion, seal geometry and the amount of applied lacquer are important.
Does the cartridge fit a standard construction sealant gun?
Compatibility must not be assumed. Check the cartridge design and required applicator and dispensing tip before use.
What is the difference between the 50 ml cartridge and 50 ml tube?
Both belong to the Bäder Standard range. The cartridge is intended for use with a suitable dispensing system, whereas the tube allows manual application. Recommended screw sizes and declared shelf life also differ.
How long can Bäder Standard lacquer in a cartridge be stored?
For the Standard Basic variant, the manufacturer specifies 6 months from manufacture at approximately 20°C. Always check the expiry date and instructions for the specific batch.
Is Bäder Standard the same as Fast Dry?
No. Standard and Fast Dry are separate ranges. Standard surface drying takes approximately 5 minutes, compared with approximately 1 minute for Fast Dry.
Does the inspection seal prevent screws from loosening?
No. It does not replace mechanical or chemical threadlocking. The visible seal helps indicate possible movement or interference with the connection.
