Properties of Omala S2 GX
- Extended oil lifetime – lower maintenance costs
The oil is resistant to high temperatures and chemicals at all times between recommended periodic replacements. The oil is also resistant to the formation of deposits, which extends the durability of the product, in selected cases up to 100 degrees Celsius.
- Great protection against wear and corrosion
The product has very well transfers loads, which reduces the wear of teeth and bearings in the gears of steel elements. The oil additionally provides anti-corrosion protection of steel parts, also in the presence of moisture, water and various types of solid impurities.
- Efficient operation of systems
The oil is characterized by excellent water separation properties. This makes it possible to remove water from the gearbox using drainage. This prolongs the duration of use. The water in the piercing negatively affects the rate of wear of its elements and accelerates corrosion.

The oil contains many EP additives based on sulfuric and phosphorus compounds. They provide anti-seizure protection, which increases the reliability of closed gears with oblique or straight steel teeth. - Heavy-duty gearboxes

Prosukt designed for use in circulating and splash lubrication systems for gears and bearings. For use in worm gears operating under heavy loads, we recommend Shell Omala S4 WE or Morlina S4 B.
