Description
Tangit PVC-U is a one-component, special solvent-based adhesive based on stabilised tetrahydrofuran, designed for bonding PVC-U components in piping systems. The product is used to create durable, tight and water-resistant joints in pressure and non-pressure installations used in construction, industry and domestic systems.
The adhesive meets the requirements of European Standard EN 14814 for adhesives for thermoplastic piping systems for fluids under pressure and European Standard EN 14680 for adhesives for non-pressure thermoplastic piping systems. It also complies with the guidelines of the Association of Plastic Pipe Manufacturers and has a National Institute of Hygiene approval for contact with drinking water.

APPLICATION
Tangit PVC-U is used for the installation and repair of pressure pipelines and for making joints in water supply and sewage systems. The product can be used in the chemical and petrochemical industries, construction and domestic installations. It is intended for PVC-U joints where tightness, water resistance and compliance with thermoplastic piping system standards are required.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Before bonding, the surfaces to be joined should be clean and dry.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply an even layer of adhesive to both surfaces to be joined, then assemble the parts and hold them in position for several minutes to ensure proper curing of the joint. After application, leave the joint for approximately 24 hours to achieve full strength.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. The adhesive should be stored in its original, tightly closed packaging, away from children, animals and food sources.
WARNING
The adhesive contains a solvent based on stabilised tetrahydrofuran. During use, follow the safety precautions appropriate for solvent-based adhesives and refer to the product safety data sheet.
