Termopasty Easy Print Sn62Pb36Ag2 6 g – leaded solder paste for SMD
Termopasty Easy Print Sn62Pb36Ag2 6 g is a No Clean solder paste designed for soldering SMD components using leaded soldering technology. The alloy contains 62% tin, 36% lead and 2% silver. The 6 g version is supplied in a syringe for accurate application of small amounts of paste to soldered components.
The paste can be used for reflow soldering in both normal atmosphere and nitrogen, as well as for stencil printing using laser-cut or electroformed stencils. Its No Clean formulation means that residues do not normally require cleaning after a correctly performed soldering process.
Applications of Easy Print Sn62Pb36Ag2
The product is intended primarily for professional assembly and repair of electronic circuits using leaded soldering technology, particularly for SMD component soldering, reflow soldering, precise syringe application and stencil printing.
Easy Print Sn62Pb36Ag2 can be used in both standard atmospheric conditions and nitrogen reflow processes. The manufacturer also specifies resistance to Mid Chip Solderballing and contour reproduction for more than 8 hours of continuous printing.
What distinguishes Termopasty Easy Print Sn62Pb36Ag2
The Sn62Pb36Ag2 alloy is intended for leaded soldering processes. The paste is grey, has a density of approximately 4.6 g/cm³ and, for the 6 g version, a particle size of 25–40 µm.
The product remains printable for more than 8 hours, while the manufacturer specifies a tack value of 1.0 G/mm² after 24 hours. The No Clean formulation means that residues normally do not need to be removed after a correctly performed soldering process.
How to use Easy Print solder paste
Read the current Safety Data Sheet carefully before use. Before application, allow the paste to reach ambient temperature to reduce the risk of moisture condensation.
The optimum application temperature specified by the manufacturer is 23–26°C, with a maximum application temperature of 28°C. The paste can be applied directly to soldered components using the syringe or used in a stencil-printing process.
For stencil printing, the manufacturer recommends a squeegee speed of 25–150 mm/s. Reflow parameters should be selected for the equipment, PCB and components in accordance with the manufacturer's soldering profile and the requirements of the specific process.
Important safety information
This product contains lead and is intended exclusively for professional use. The current Safety Data Sheet classifies the mixture as hazardous and uses the signal word Danger.
Relevant hazards include H317 – may cause an allergic skin reaction, H360FD – may damage fertility and the unborn child, H362 – may cause harm to breast-fed children, and H400/H410 – very toxic to aquatic life, including long-lasting effects.
Read the special safety precautions before use, wear appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with the SDS and avoid release to the environment. Particular care is required where exposure during pregnancy or breastfeeding may occur.
