Tork 424218 Extra – alcohol liquid for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection S4
Tork 424218 Extra is a professional alcohol-based liquid intended for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. It is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms and is designed for professional environments requiring regular and repeatable hand hygiene procedures.
The product can be used, among other applications, in accordance with the 5 Moments for Hand Hygiene. It also meets the requirements for surgical hand disinfection. The refill is designed for the Tork S4 system.
Efficacy of Tork 424218 Extra
The product has been tested according to European standards for disinfectant efficacy.
EN 13727 – bactericidal activity.
EN 1500 – hygienic hand disinfection in 30 seconds.
EN 12791 – surgical hand disinfection in 90 seconds.
EN 14476 – activity against enveloped viruses and norovirus in 15 seconds and virucidal activity in 60 seconds.

Ingredients of Tork 424218 Extra
According to the manufacturer's documentation, the formulation contains ethanol 71.9 g/100 g and isopropanol 5 g/100 g, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, phosphoric acid, allantoin, MEK, Bitrex and water.
How to use Tork 424218 Extra
Make sure hands are dry and clean before application.
For general hand hygiene, apply 1–2 doses so that the entire hand surface is wetted and rub thoroughly until dry for approximately 15–30 seconds.
For hand disinfection according to EN 1500, apply enough product to keep the entire surface of the hands covered while rubbing for 30 seconds. Continue rubbing until dry.

Store in the original container at a temperature between 4°C and 30°C. Protect from excessive sunlight and avoid extreme temperatures. The unopened product has a shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacture shown on the packaging. Use within 12 months after opening.

This is a biocidal product and should be used in accordance with its intended use and the current product label and Safety Data Sheet.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and follow the manufacturer's safety instructions.
