WEICON Anti-Seize High-Tech 500 g – metal-free assembly paste

WEICON Anti-Seize High-Tech is a white, metal-free assembly paste designed to protect heavily loaded connections against corrosion, seizing and cold welding. Its separating properties help maintain the ability to dismantle threaded and fitted connections even after exposure to high temperatures.

Applications

The product is particularly suitable where metal-containing pastes could cause undesirable electrolytic reactions. WEICON recommends Anti-Seize High-Tech for high-alloy and stainless steels as well as for screws, nuts, threaded connections and components exposed to high temperatures and heavy loads.

Surface preparation and application

Before application, surfaces should be cleaned and degreased. WEICON recommends Cleaner Spray S. Used screws should additionally be cleaned mechanically with a wire brush where necessary.

Apply a thin layer of paste over the entire mating surface. For screws, make sure that the thread root and the underside of the screw head are also coated.

Technical data

Storage

Store tightly closed in the original container in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed +50°C. The minimum shelf life at room temperature is 24 months.

Safety

The product causes skin irritation and serious eye damage. Wear suitable protective gloves and eye or face protection during use and follow the current safety data sheet.

When Anti-Seize is used on chromium-nickel steel at temperatures above 400°C, chromium(VI) may form. Such applications require an appropriate risk assessment.

FAQ

Does WEICON Anti-Seize High-Tech contain metals?

No. It is a metal-free assembly paste and is therefore suitable where metal-containing compounds could cause undesirable electrolytic reactions.

Is it suitable for stainless steel?

Yes. WEICON specifically recommends Anti-Seize High-Tech for high-alloy and stainless steels. For chromium-nickel steel above 400°C, the manufacturer's chromium(VI) warning must be considered.

Can it be used in food-industry applications?

The product is NSF H1 registered for applications where incidental contact between lubricant and food may occur. This does not mean that the product is intended for direct food contact.

Does it replace conventional grease?

No. It is an Anti-Seize assembly paste and does not replace operational lubrication with oil or grease where continuous lubrication is required.
