WEICON Corro-Protection 400 ml – temporary red anti-corrosion wax
WEICON Corro-Protection is a temporary anti-corrosion protection product for metal components. The synthetic wax-based formulation with special additives forms an elastic, dry-to-touch protective film after application, helping to protect metal surfaces against corrosion during storage, machine downtime and transport.
This 400 ml version forms a red protective coating, making it easier to see which areas have already been treated.
Applications
The product is intended primarily for temporary protection of bare and uncoated metal surfaces. It can be used on machine parts, tools, moulds, precision components and parts stored or transported before further processing or assembly.

Application
Before application, clean and degrease the surface thoroughly. WEICON recommends the use of Cleaner S or Cleaner Spray S.
Shake the aerosol can thoroughly until the mixing ball can be clearly heard. Spray evenly in a crosswise pattern from a distance of approximately 20 cm.
Several layers can be applied where increased corrosion protection is required. The coating fully cures after approximately 3–4 hours at room temperature.
The protective layer can later be removed using WEICON Cleaner S.

Storage
Store the container in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat, sparks and open flames. Protect from direct sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above +50°C.
