WEICON Epoxy Minute Adhesive 24 ml is a fast-curing two-component epoxy resin adhesive designed for bonding a wide range of materials. It is suitable when a durable bond, short processing time and transparent adhesive joint are required.
The adhesive has a self-levelling consistency, is mixed in a 1:1 ratio and can bridge gaps up to 2 mm. At 20°C, the processing time is approximately 4–5 minutes, functional strength is reached after approximately 20 minutes and final strength after 24 hours.
What is WEICON Epoxy Minute Adhesive used for?
The manufacturer specifies the adhesive for bonding materials including metals, plastics, fibre-reinforced composites, ceramics, glass, stone and wood. It can be used for bonding identical materials as well as different materials to each other.
Epoxy Minute Adhesive is suitable for assembly, repair and construction work, particularly when only a small quantity of fast-curing epoxy adhesive is required and the appearance of the transparent bond line is important.

If more time is required to position large components or prepare an extensive bond, an epoxy adhesive with a longer processing time may be more suitable. Epoxy Minute Adhesive has a processing time of only approximately 4–5 minutes at 20°C.
How to use WEICON Epoxy Minute Adhesive
The bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease. Dirt, oil and grease can reduce the quality of the adhesive bond.
The components must be dispensed in a 1:1 volume ratio and thoroughly mixed before application. The product is supplied in a twin syringe and can be mixed manually. A compatible WEICON mixing nozzle can also be used.
Apply the adhesive to the prepared surface and assemble the parts within the product's processing time. Higher temperatures shorten the processing and curing times, while lower temperatures extend them. At temperatures of approximately +5°C and below, the curing reaction practically does not take place.

Storage
Store in a dry place in the unopened original packaging at a temperature between +18°C and +25°C and protect from direct sunlight. When stored correctly, the manufacturer specifies a minimum shelf life of 18 months. Epoxy resins may crystallise at temperatures below +5°C.
