WEICON Mounting Tape grey 19 mm × 3 m – double-sided mounting tape 85 kg/m is a strong acrylic-foam double-sided tape for clean, drill-free mounting. It also performs on low-surface-energy plastics (PE/PP) and powder-coated surfaces. UV- and moisture-resistant for indoor and outdoor applications.

Applications
Permanent mounting of trims, panels, profiles and covers in metalworking, automotive/van conversions, caravanning, electronics and PoS/display.
How to use
Clean and degrease both substrates; apply at a minimum of 15 °C; press down firmly and evenly along the full length. The bond reaches full strength after approx. 24 h.

1) Double-sided tape for PE/PP — will this one work?
Yes. This version is recommended for low-surface-energy plastics (PE/PP). Proper degreasing and strong, even pressure are essential.
2) How much weight can mounting tape hold? How to estimate 85 kg/m?
The declared linear load is 85 kg per 1 m of 19 mm tape. As a rule of thumb, ~1 kg requires about 1.2 cm of tape length; in practice use at least 2× safety margin and distribute the load over a greater length.
3) Outdoor use — UV and moisture resistance?
Yes. Suitable for outdoor applications; service temperature −40 to +120 °C, UV- and moisture-resistant.
4) How long until full strength?
Approximately 24 h under typical conditions.
5) Best application temperature?
Apply at ≥ 15 °C; lower temperatures reduce initial tack.
