Usage

Bonds very well composites such as PDCPD Telen, vinyl esters, epoxy, glass fiber reinforced plastics, most plastics except PP and PE, metals, steel and aluminum. 

Perfect for bonding glass and transparent materials, especially recommended for the advertising industry.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surfaces to be bonded should in all cases be free from dust, oil, grease and other contaminants. Each surface, even if it looks clean, most often contains various kinds of residues. We recommend to always clean and degrease the surface before gluing. In order to select the appropriate product, please contact our consultants.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Follow the instructions on the label or contact Melkib-bis s.c.. Place the cartridge in the dispensing gun. Open the cartridge. Squeeze a small amount of glue to make sure that both come out. Place the mixing tip on the cartridge. Then squeeze a small amount of glue through it until it has a homogeneous consistency and color - the ingredients will be evenly mixed. In the case of using recently opened containers or older ones, perform a test to verify the quality of the product. Squeeze the right amount of glue onto the parts so that after pressing the elements together, the glue layer is at least 1 mm thick. Note that the adhesive comes out (on the sides) to ensure that the joint is completely filled. Movement of the parts during the hardening process must be prevented. Excessive pressure on the parts can negatively affect the amount and thickness of the adhesive layer, and thus the quality and strength of the joint. In case of doubt that the layer of glue will be too thin, you can use pads (e.g. a paper clip, a piece of wire). Before removing the elements stabilizing the connection, check that the adhesive has hardened on the sides, for example with a fingernail.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

The usability of components A and B in unopened containers is approximately 6 months from the date of production. The given time applies to storage under constant conditions at temperatures between +13 ° C and +27 ° C. When the product is exposed to temperatures above +27 ° C, the shelf life is significantly shortened. Exposing the product to temperatures above +38 ° C during transport or during storage may lead to the rapid degradation of component B. The storage time can be extended by storing in air-conditioned rooms or in cold rooms with a temperature of +10 ° C to +18 ° C . The product must be protected against frost!
