Ferogrind 2430 - Product Description

Ferogrind 2430 is a water-soluble semi-synthetic coolant concentrate that contains about 24% mineral oil. The product is perfect for light and medium-difficult cutting operations. Due to its properties, it can be used in the processing of various metals, including steel, cast iron, copper, aluminum and their alloys.

Application

Ferogrind 2430 is mainly used as an emulsifying coolant in various metalworking processes. Depending on the type of operation, different emulsion concentrations are recommended:

• Grinding: 3 – 5%
• Rough turning: 3 – 5%
• Smoothing: 5 – 8%
• Finish reaming: 5 – 8%
• Threading: 5 – 8%
• Embossing: 8 – 20%
