Description

Unimoly C 220 is an innovative hygrobase gray lubricating coating containing a MoS2 base (molybdenum disulfide) and an organic binder. This product has a wide range of applications thanks to its unique properties and excellent resistance to low and high temperatures, as well as high pressures.

Properties:

Hygrobase lubricating coating, hardening at room temperature.
Resistant to low and high temperatures.
Suitable for vacuum applications.
Excellent adhesion to metals, including special steel.
Effectively protects against cold welding, especially in the case of nuts and bolts made of special steel.
Support in the assembly process, improves the balancing process and prevents jamming.

Application:

Unimoly C 220 reduces friction and wear in metal-to-metal contacts.
Prevents locking of nuts and bolts, ensuring uniform tightening torque and low friction.
Used as a balancing agent, e.g. in gears.
Other areas of application include glued screws, hinges and lock elements, guides, spindles and other elements operating under high loads.
Suitable for applications at very low and very high temperatures, as well as in humid conditions, which contributes to extended component life.

How to use:

Before using Unimoly C 220, it is recommended to mix or shake thoroughly (also applies to the spray version).
The product can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing.
The treated surfaces should be cleaned of grease and dirt, free from oil, corrosion and deposits.
If spraying, use a spray gun with appropriate pressure and nozzle.
Unimoly C 220 is ready for use after about 5 minutes at 20°C, and the hardening process takes about 30 minutes at the same temperature.
