Kluber Unimoly HTC Metallic 600g, 30kg high-temperature paste containing graphite and metal, easy to disassemble
Description
Unimoly HTC Metallic is a lubricating paste designed specifically to operate in extreme high temperature conditions. Provides effective lubrication and facilitates disassembly even after long-term exposure to high temperatures.
Properties:
- Guarantees easy disassembly, even after exposure to high temperatures.
- Has high pressure absorption capacity.
- Prevents the stick-slip effect (jamming).
- Meets the requirements of car manufacturers.
- Also available in a spray version (UNIMOLY HTC METALLIC Spray).
Application:
- Unimoly HTC Metallic is a high-temperature lubricating paste intended for the lubrication of screws, nuts and screws. Thanks to the dry lubricating film, it allows easy disassembly of these mechanical elements.
- In the pressure casting industry, this paste is used to lubricate punches, core extractors and threaded connections.
- In the plastics processing industry, Unimoly HTC Metallic is used as a lubricant for heated extruder heads and screw attachments.
- This paste also works as an assembly paste for dies in the extrusion process and as a lubricant for spring elements.
How to use:
- Always apply the paste in a thin layer! Make sure the friction area is clean, free of residues and separating layers such as corrosion protection agents to ensure optimal adhesion of the paste. Then spread the paste evenly over the entire surface.
- For machine screws, make sure the paste is also applied to the underside of the screw head. Only if the thread and the underside of the screw head are covered with grease will it be possible to obtain optimal tension when tightening and disassembling components, even if they have been exposed to high temperatures.
- For easier application, you can use the spray version. In the case of press-fit connections, it is necessary to apply a very thin layer of paste to the metal surfaces. In the case of joints, excess paste may flow from the joint and lead to functional failures of adjacent components if there is a risk of excess lubricant splashing.
