Product description
Loctite 542 is a one-component liquid anaerobic thread sealant designed to seal hydraulic and pneumatic connections to prevent fluid and gas leaks. Cures in the presence of metal and in the absence of oxygen.
Properties:
- Good resistance to pressure: Can withstand pressures up to 350 bar, making it suitable for most industrial applications.
- Curing speed: Depending on conditions, it may cure in a few hours, although it may take up to 24 hours to fully cure.
- Temperature resistance: Has good temperature resistance, operating effectively from -55°C to +150°C.
- Corrosion resistance: Prevents corrosion of threads, protecting them from damage.
Usage:
