Properties
LOCTITE Frekote B-15 is a solvent-based polymer sealant for metal molds with surface defects. In combination with other products, Frekote is an excellent coating that enhances the non-adhesive properties. Due to the ether content and flammable properties, the product should be used in well-ventilated rooms.

Use
LOCTITE Frekote B-15 is used to seal metal molds in which there are minor scratches, microporosities and other surface defects. Thanks to its thermal stability and the possibility of shortening the curing period by heating the mold, the product finds numerous applications.

Instructions for use
- the surface of the mould must be clean. Remove any traces of previously used adhesives and sealants
- the product can be applied to the surface with a brush, a non-pilling cotton cloth or sprayed with a distance of 20 - 25 cm between the surface and the nozzle
- apply 2 layers of Frekote B-15 at 30 minute intervals
- the final layer hardens within 24 hours. This period can be reduced to 1h by toasting the mold for 60 minutes at 94 °C
Storage
LOCTITE Frekote B-15 is classified as a flammable product and should be stored in accordance with current safety rules. The product should be stored in a dry and cool room away from oxidizing and combustible materials. The optimum storage temperature of Frekote B-15 is between 8 and 21 °C, and exceeding these limits can permanently change the properties of the product.
